I used the recipe from Smitten Kitchen: http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/09/snickerdoodles/
I used a little less butter (7oz instead of 8) but I think I should have used even less. The butter in France has such a high butterfat content that my cookies were not quite as "cakey" in the center. They were still chewy but flatter than I would have liked.
That said they were YUMMY! And everyone loved them! I'm just looking to make the oh so perfect cookie :)
I also made some oatmeal/cranberry cookies that turned out really good too.
