Oh Karina, I so agree with you -- 1000%!! This freak makes me shake in my boots, I swear, and no matter how much people try to feed me crap about all his patriotic accomplishments (and I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but do we NEED to hear more of this again?!?! Is THIS what our country needs?! I hardly think so...) I can't look beyond his stance on abortion, on the war in Iraq, on the "right to bear arms". When I found out he was the Republican front-runner, I wanted to cry. Just sit down and CRY. Please, oh please let the American people be sane enough to wake up, smell the coffee, and elect someone promising and who will bring us a better future!!
(OK, I'll climb down off my soapbox now -- and this is coming from a gal who is typically VERY a-political -- it's just not usually my thing... But I can't close my eyes on this one.)
Oh I totally agree. He's a scary man. IF I was republican and he was my choice I'd have to vote democrat...hoping that is what will happen, but this country has tons of crazy hard core republicans. We need change, this guy isn't change, he's the same old thing..maybe worse. We are planning a 1 year sabbatical in France starting October 2008, so I'll have to vote absentee but it won't be for him, that's for sure!!!!
He is indeed a frightening man, but do the Republicans actually stand a chance this year? Please tell me America is going to do the right thing this year and elect a Democrat? Time for a change, people! Glad to find your blog, and in the words of another scary Republican, I'll be back..... Cheers!
